Westbay Intelligent Seat Occupancy/Seat Belt Reminder Remote Monitor System: this system is composed of safety reminder host, seat detection terminal, safety belt socket and seat sensor, handheld pad, background system and vehicle audio system.   When the pressure is detected on the seat, the sensor will send a signal to the seat detection terminal, which wirelessly transmits the signal to the reminder host, handheld pad and cloud terminal. At the same time, it will send an audible and visual reminder to inform passengers to fasten their seat belts.
 
By installing a wireless sensor transmitter on each seat, data is transmitted to the driver interactive device and goes to the cloud server. The vehicle position and passenger seat belt status can be monitored in real time, and real-time remote supervision can be achieved through the cloud server, which can effectively reduce safety risks.

Westbay Intelligent safety belt reminder system: this system is composed of safety reminder host, seat detection terminal, safety belt socket and seat sensor, handheld pad, background system and vehicle audio system.

The detection terminal detects the state change of the seat sensor, detects whether someone is sitting down, packages the detection results, and sends them to the host for centralized processing through wireless signals at regular intervals. A seat detection terminal can detect the seating status of four seats.  It is widely used in statistics of passenger vehicle sitting rate.

When the pressure is detected on the seat, the sensor will send a signal to the seat detection terminal, which wirelessly transmits the signal to the reminder host, handheld pad and cloud terminal. At the same time, it will send an audible and visual reminder to inform passengers to fasten their seat belts.

 The reminder host terminal receives the signal from the seat detection terminal, displays the result on the screen, outputs the audio signal to the on-board audio system, broadcasts to remind passengers who do not fasten their seat belts to fasten their seat belts, and uploads the data to the background system through 4G network.

 2. Seat detection terminal

 The seat detection terminal packs the detection results of the seat sensor and the seat belt socket and sends them to the safety reminder host regularly through wireless signals. One seat detection terminal can detect the status information of one or two seats.  

As shown in picture, the seat detection terminal and the reminder host transmit wirelessly without wiring, efficient and energy-saving algorithm, the battery can be used for more than 3 years, simple installation design, and the seat detection terminal can be connected with 2 seat belt sockets and 2 seat sensors; The equipment serial number is marked on it, and there is a signal line identification prompt on the front.

3. Safety seatbelt buckle and seat sensor
 
The safety belt socket detects whether the safety belt is buckled, the seat sensor detects whether someone is sitting on the seat, and the detection result is output to the seat detection terminal through the level signal. 

 As shown in picture, an electronic detection device is built into the safety belt socket to detect whether the safety belt is buckled; The seat sensor detects whether someone is sitting on the seat through weight monitoring, and reports the detection results to the safety reminder host through the seat detection terminal.

 4. Handheld pad

5. Installation

 

Install the sensor and buckle according to the printed seat layout.

Red color wire is one group for sensor and buckle, blue color wire is the other group for sensor and buckle.

 

 

 
 

 
6. Background system

The background system can remotely monitor the situation of passengers on board, count passenger flow, store data, and remotely manage the equipment.

 

 

1. Login interface

 

As shown in picture, the system administrator logs in by entering the account and password to remind the system to view the data. People without permission cannot view the data, so as to better keep the information confidential.

 

 

2. Monitoring center

 

It can remotely monitor the passenger flow and time table of the vehicle, and remotely monitor the passenger flow and time table of the vehicle.

"History Track" and "History seat" can live tracking the vehicle driving route and seat occupancy status and seatbelt fasten status during the period selected.

Seat occupancy tracking data can be download from background system for data analysis, can tracking 30 days data.

 

 

 

 

3. System interface

 

The system interface can set account management, vehicle management, etc. Account management can set account authority to facilitate different people to manage their own vehicles; Vehicle management can enter new vehicle information for configuration, classification, management, etc.

7. Remote Configuration

 

In case the seat layout need modification, we support remote re-configure the seat layout.  steps as below:

1. RD enginner reconfigure the seat layout and send the data package to user.
2. User download the data package and install the "seatbelt host software" and configuration drive "CP2102 Drive" in local computer.
3. Connect Configure cable to the display screen
4. Connect the USB terminal of the configuration cable to the computer,
5. Connect the power to the display screen
6. Open the configuration software to reconfigure, it takes about 2 minutes to finish.

Working principle:
