In March 2023, Russian customers reported that the intelligent seatbelt alarm system in buses had good signals in the front seats during testing, while the signals in the middle and rear seats were weak. There was a delay of about 20 seconds during signal transmission.

After analysis and verification, it has been confirmed that the reason for the signal delay is that the car model is quite special, and the front and body are separate. The display screen is placed at the front of the car, and the seat detection end is placed inside the body. Due to the metal material of the body, it blocks the signal, causing the signals from the detection terminal of the middle and rear seats to be sent to the display screen at a relatively long distance, resulting in weaker signals.

In order to improve signal shielding issues, our R&D engineers have decided to use GPS modules, and 4G modules with external antenna to more effectively receive signals from the seat detection terminal.

After sending the display screen with an external module to the customer for testing, the test verification results showed that the signal was transmitted normally and the signal delay problem was effectively improved and resolved.
